Burn Balance stores all your data locally on your device using AsyncStorage — a standard mobile local storage mechanism. This means:

• Your data exists only on your phone
• We have no access to your data at any time
• Uninstalling the app removes all stored data
• No account or login is required

Data We Do NOT Collect

• No personal identification information
• No location data
• No device identifiers
• No usage analytics or tracking
• No advertising data
• No health data synced to any server

Third-Party Services

Burn Balance does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. The app works fully offline and requires no internet connection to function.

The app is distributed through the Google Play Store. Google's own privacy policy governs any data collected through the Play Store platform itself — this is outside our control and unrelated to Burn Balance's functionality.

Third-Party Recommendations

Burn Balance may recommend third-party apps that complement your fitness journey, such as calorie tracking tools. These recommendations are based solely on our personal use and genuine belief in their value.

Burn Balance provides estimated calorie calculations based on established fitness formulas (Mifflin-St Jeor, MET-based models). These are approximations, not medical advice.

We recommend tracking your steps and activity using a smartwatch or fitness tracker for the most accurate results. Always consult a healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet or exercise routine.

Children's Privacy

Burn Balance is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has used this app and provided personal information, please contact us so we can address it.
